Dear Wonderful Husband...
Please know that today and every day, you are in my prayers... that I ask God to watch over you, hold you close to His heart, to heal your hurts, to multiply your joys... that I ask Him to keep you safe from harm or mishap... to draw you closer to Him in your daily walk... to keep you happy always in your choice to take me for your wife... and I ask Him to help me love you the way He wants me to love you... to use me as a tool in His hand, a vessel specially chosen to carry His love directly from heaven to you... that He help me to become the wife that He, in His abundant love for you, wants you to have... that He give me a servant's heart always where you are concerned.. that He use me each day to make life better for you in at least some small way... and that He gives you the joy of loving me the way He wants you to love me... that He will love me through you in the very same way....
I pray for you each day that He will give you comfort where there is sadness... pleasure where there is pain... joy where there is sorrow... abundance where there is want... calm where there is worry... fulfillment where there is emptiness... strength where there is weakness... laughter where there are tears....
I ask that He bless you abundantly in all areas of your life... that He give you full confidence and assurance of His love... of my love... of your family's love... both the family you were born into and this new one you married into....
So, wonderful Husband... please know that today and always you are prayed for... and especially know that I love you beyond measure... and am reminded of Jesus' first miracle... when he turned water into wine at the wedding... and altho the first wine was good, and had no fault, for it was the best the groom had to offer... the second wine was better because it was what Jesus offered...
And I realize that I have waited all my life for a love like ours... Jesus did, indeed, save the best for last.
